Buffalo Ankerite Property
The Buffalo Ankerite property is situated approximately 3.5 miles southeast of Timmins in northeastern Ontario and is part of the prolific Porcupine Gold Camp. The 100% owned property, a past producer, totals 2626 acres in size with measured and indicated resources of 220,000 ounces gold grading .135 opt and inferred resources of 270,000 ounces gold grading .127 opt. Buffalo Ankerite is easily accessible by highway and is approximately two miles east of Goldcorp’s Dome Mine where 17 million ounces of gold has been produced.
A 4,000-foot deep production shaft on the property was the primary means of historical gold production. Drilling in 2001 – 2002 by Placer Dome outlined a pit design between surface and 400 feet on the south limb of the fold. Historical work indicates additional potential on the property exists below the pit resource.

Buffalo Ankerite is situated between two former producing mines. Adjacent to the west, the former Aunor/Delnite Mine produced 3.5 million ounces of gold. Adjacent to the east, the Paymaster Mine produced another 1.2 million ounces of gold. VG Gold has identified a high-grade zone of gold mineralization at a depth of approximately 4,000 feet: Hole VBA-08-108 intersected 2.07 opt over 5.0 ft. Drilling designed to expand this mineralization is currently being planned.
