The Company has a two track strategy to build share value. VG Gold is carrying out an aggressive exploration program with the aim to significantly increase the Company's gold resource. VG Gold is also advancing the properties towards the production stage.
Introduction
VG Gold Corp. is a mining exploration and development company with
three advanced gold projects in Timmins, Ontario. VG Gold Corp.
is an Ontario corporation that was formed in 1972 and has been
active in the Timmins district since the purchase of the Fuller
property in 1980. VG Gold has a office in Timmins, with an exploration
manager
and a team of exploration geologists. The Company also has an
operations manager who is advancing development of the company's
properties towards the production stage. The company's corporate headquarters
is located in the Toronto financial community. VG Gold is listed
on the Toronto Stock Exchange (TSX:VG) and on the Frankfurt Exchange
(FWB:VN3).
Business Summary
VG Gold's portfolio of developed gold properties include
the Fuller, Davidson Tisdale, and Buffalo Ankerite, all located in the
Timmins gold camp, which has all mining infrastructure, work force
and services necessary for gold production. VG Gold specializes
in finding and expanding zones of gold mineralization with exploration
drilling, and by advancing the properties to the production stage.
Current activities include exploration, mine planning, permitting,
and economic studies.
VG Gold's properties are located in the heart of the world class Timmins gold camp. The Fuller and Buffalo Ankerite properties are surrounded by the largest Timmins' producers - the Dome, Hollinger, McIntyre and Aunor mines - that have collectively produced 50 million ounces of gold (Ontario Ministry of Northern Development and Mines). The Davidson Tisdale property is also located in close proximity to these prolific gold producers.
VG Gold has carried out exploration and development work on its Timmins gold properties. These properties are providing VG Gold with the potential to grow and emerge as a Timmins area junior producer. Management's long-term plan is to build the company towards an intermediate gold producer through both mine development and corporate transactions.
